What Next?

This is a question you might be asking yourself currently or one you may have already thought about. Once I’ve graduated, what options are there for me and where do I want to go? And the reality to this question is anything and anywhere.
You can decide to take a year out and journey through south Asia. You can decide you want to go and do a masters or further your education more. You can decide to go straight into work. The point is you can do whatever you put your mind to and get valuable life skills in everything. One route for someone else may not be the right route for you and that’s okay. You might plan one thing and then suddenly have your plans rearranged or changed and that’s okay too. Having a road map in life can be useful, I for one can’t wait to go for 6 months / 1 year travelling somewhere.

Making what feels like big decisions are difficult, but you can adapt and change and decide yourself what those are to be. I personally wanted to travel come summer and work abroad for a year and whilst I still plan to do this, due to the current global pandemic I have decided that instead I will further my education and look into a masters. But this is my personal road map.
If you’re worried about taking a year out but also how to afford it and would rather get a job and then travel in a few years’ time that too is an okay route. Many places these days accept sabbatical time and allow you an extended time off without pay but you can come back to your job after. This gives you job security for when you come back but also means you can do things such as taking 6 months to travel Australia.
Whatever you decide to do, anything is possible. You may have to rearrange things or find routes to make you goal and ambitions possible, but there is no expected route or one correct route for all.
So, what next? For me it’s a masters, but what’s next for you? Send us a message and let us know.
